Sunday 2nd August and removals Monday 3rd

Morning service at Firth Park joined by some members of our family worship centre congregation. It was in fact good to be back with smiling friendly faces. The challenge now is to get back into the routine and find ways of developing the work at Firth Park whose location at the heart of the area is so obvious the place to be. So come the new Methodist year we will all need to get stuck into the community afresh.

On Monday it was a trip over to Lincoln to take the various items collated to help equip the house for Eric, Mary and family when they arrive from Ghana. It all went very smoothly from picking goods up and getting there and back in the same day so I didnt have to lose time on Tuesday taking the hire van back. People have been extremely generous and supportive. I will look forward to seeing the family when they arrive and renewing our friendship.
